Oakland becomes the first team in league history to win two championships, adding this year's Golden Tractor to their 2011 title. Oakland downed previously unbeaten Howells in a 90-87 thriller in the championship game. Playoff Bracket.

Preseason meeting: The FBL held its preseason meeting Nov. 15 in West Point. League managers made two significant changes to the league constitution: A) Games will now consist of two 20-minute halves. B) Six teams will qualify for the playoffs, with the top two teams getting byes.
