Record: 20-6, Platte Division Champs (6-0), District Champions
The Tiger girls basketball team ended the season with the second best defensive average in the Class C-2. The Tigers yielded 31.0 points per game this season, second only to Blue Hill’s 30.5. Rounding out the top five defensive teams in C-2 are Crofton 32.2, Shelby/Rising City 33.5, and Aquinas 33.7.
North Bend’s 20-win season included a seven-game winning streak. All six of the Tigers’ losses were to what the NSAA classifies as Division 1 teams, meaning they all had winning percentages of .750 or better.
The Tigers finished fourth in the East Husker conference tournament, snapping a seven-year streak of playing in the EHC finals.
Senior Alle Flamme and junior Mariah Hull were named second-team all-conference. Sophomore Samantha Dirkschneider and senior Livi Flamme were given honorable mention.
The NBC junior varsity finished with an 11-5 record while the freshmen went 6-3.
