The NBC offense set nearly every passing record in 2018, and senior John Emanuel was on the receiving end of many of those passes. Emanuel hauled in 78 catches, ending up on the other end of 37 percent of quarterback Austin Endorf's passes.

Emanuel had 42 catches heading into the eighth game of the season against Shelby-Rising City. He made the reception record his own early on before going on to catch a single-game record 17 passes that night. He then ran up the score with 8 and 11 catches in his final two games, giving him 78 receptions over the 10-game season.
