Record History: Catches in a single game

John Emanuel 2018

Current Record Holder:

John Emanuel, 17 receptions
Oct. 12, 2018 vs. Shelby-Rising City

Senior John Emanuel hauled in 17 catches on a cold night in Shelby. That mark would have also broken the Class C1 state record of 16, but this was NBC's first year down in Class C2, where the state record was 19. Many of the catches were short passes in the flats to gain 5 to 10 yards, so Emanuel's 17 catches ended up netting him 115 yards. Quarterback Austin Endorf also tied the school record of 31 completions in the game.
