Time to gear up for Old Settlers '25by Nathan Arneal NORTH BEND – It’s June and the Summer of 2025 is officially on. Of course that means Old Settlers is right around the corner. The full schedule for the June 20-22 weekend is posted at NorthBendNE.com and will be published in next week’s Eagle. The 11-and-under group will eat pigs in a blanket. Both youth contests will last 5 minutes and are free to enter. Ten contestants will be drawn to complete in each division from names that have signed up that day. Winners get free carnival ride bracelets. The open division requires a $10 registration. Multiple registrations are allowed to increase chances of being one of the 10 contestants drawn. Venmo a registration fee of $10 to @NorthBendEagle. The winner of the 10-minute open division receives a whole processed hog sponsored by Jim Spath and North Bend Locker.
