Drew Hines assumed the starting point guard duties late in his freshman season, and four years later he had handed our more assists than any previous North Bend player. He broke the record against Twin River in the first round of districts his senior season, a year in which he averaged 6.3 assists per game. He used good quickness, great ball handling skills and a big jump stop to penetrate defenses, often dropping the ball off to big men Tony Hartman and Tyler Kingston for lay-ups.
