Summary: The Elk took an early lead, but North Bend came back to lead by six at halftime. The Ambush extended its advantage to as many as eight in the second half, but Brian Meiergerd sparked an Elk rally with consecutive 3-pointers. The Elk took the lead with about five minutes left after a technical foul on North Bend turned into a 4-point possession for the Elk. With less than a minute left, the Elk led by three, and North Bend missed a 3-pointer, but Kale Wietfeld was there to collect and offensive rebound and put it back in, cutting the lead to one point with about nine seconds left. Terry Doggett was fouled and made one free throw, pushing the lead back to two. On the ensuing Ambush possession, North Bend ended up inbounding the ball with 1.5 seconds left under its own basket. Jason Wehner got a good look at a 3-pointer at the buzzer, but it didn't fall.
