Summary: Using its superior height to pound the ball inside, Oakland worked to a double-digit lead in the first half. Riding the hot shooting of Jason Saalfeld and penetration of Tyler Baumert, the Ambush worked their way back into the game and took a 3-point lead midway through the second half. Oakland quickly responded with a burst of its own to push the lead back to eight points. North Bend got a couple of steals in the final minute, but it wasn't enough as Oakland hung on for the win. Merritt Nelson led Oakland with 27 points as Oakland made 26-of-31 free throws for the game.
