Convoy traces 1919 route

A convoy of more than 80 classic military vehicles passed through North Bend Thursday, June 25, 2009, making a detour through town past the Veterans' Park. Dozens of North Benders lined the streets waving flags to watch the jeep, trucks and other military vehicles pass. The convoy was tracing a cross-country route made by the original military convoy in 1919.
