Schuyler overpowers NBC

Dec. 19- Schuyler's size and athleticism was too much for NBC, as the Tigers fell 62-42. The Tigers trailed only 16-12 after one quarter, as Kale Wietfeld scored nine straight Tiger points in the opening period to keep North Bend in it.

Dec. 18- North Bend and Pender played a thrilling EHC game in North Bend. The teams were tied at 12 following the first quarter, but Pender used 12 unanswered points in the second period to take a 24-14 lead at the half. NBC responded with a 14-4 run of its own to get back in the game. It came down to the final possession, when Jake Kroenke missed a shot from the corner, got his own rebound, and threw up a half-hook that went in as the buzzer sounded for a 44-42 win. Kale Wietfeld had 16 points for NBC, while Kroenke had a career high 11.

Stanton pulls away in fourth

Dec. 15- NBC trailed by just three points heading in the final period, but Stanton took advantage of Tiger turnovers to pull away for a 53-40 EHC win. North Bend finished the game with 17 turnovers. Kale Wietfeld had 17 points and Aaron Fredrickson had 10 points and seven rebounds for North Bend.

NBC gets win No. 1

Dec. 11- North Bend got of to a nice lead in the first half then hung on for its first win of the season, beating Lyons-Decatur 41-36. Kale Wietfeld led NBC with 14 points and Aaron Fredrickson had 10 rebounds for the Tigers.

Tigers tip off vs. Scouts

Dec. 5- Despite David City rushing to a 22-11 lead, the Tigers hung with the Scouts for a while and only trailed 25-19 at halftime. However, DC exploded for 24 points in the third quarter and ended the game with a 24-4 run to take a 67-36 win. Kale Wietfeld led NBC with 21 points and was the only Tiger to register more than five points.
