
Comp plan adoptedby Nathan Arneal The multi-month process of updating North Bend Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinances is complete. Following a public hearing April 20, the city council adopted the plan, which lays out the land-use plans and other goals for the future of North Bend. The process began last fall with a town hall meeting. The city updates its comprehensive plan about every 10 years. No significant changes were made to the city’s ordinances. In other business, the Council hired staff to work at the city pool this summer. Substitute lifeguards approved were Amy Baumert, Caranda Gerke, McKenzie Hartman, Marissa Hoops, Mary Alderson, John Seymour, Kelsy Jensen, Trevor Limbach and Dalena Mensik.
